Atreju Hill

Atreju “Trey” Hill is a Dallas-based tattoo artist specializing in Traditional Surrealism, a style that blends the bold design principles of American Traditional tattooing with the depth and detail of realism. His work focuses on creating striking black and grey pieces that guide the viewer’s eye through strong composition, contrast, and storytelling. Drawing since childhood, Trey developed his skills through years of self-education before completing his tattoo apprenticeship at Dallas Tattoo under mentor Travis Chick and the crew. Today, he combines realistic portraiture, surreal imagery, and traditional motifs to create unique, thought-provoking designs that are tattooed only once. Whether working digitally or on skin, Trey aims to create artwork that is memorable, impactful, and impossible to ignore.
