Frequently Asked Questions

Booking

How do I book an appointment?

  • Submit a booking request through my website with your tattoo idea, preferred placement, approximate size, and any reference images. I'll review everything and reach out with a quote and available dates.

Do I need a deposit?

  • Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your appointment. It covers drawing time, secures your date, and is applied toward the final payment of your tattoo.

Are deposits refundable?

  • No. Deposits are non-refundable but are credited toward the final cost of your tattoo.

Can I reschedule?

  • Yes. I ask for 24–48 hours' notice whenever possible. You may reschedule up to two times before a new deposit is required.

What if I'm late?

  • Please let me know as soon as possible. If you're more than 30 minutes late without communication, your appointment will be considered a no-call/no-show.

What happens if I don't show up?

  • No-call/no-shows forfeit their deposit and must pay a new deposit to book another appointment.

Pricing

How much does a tattoo cost?

  • Every tattoo is priced individually based on size, placement, detail, and estimated tattoo time. For more information, please visit my Pricing page.

Do you charge hourly?

  • Smaller tattoos may be charged hourly, but most custom projects are booked as half-day or full-day sessions.

Can I get a quote before booking?

  • Absolutely. Submit a booking request and I'll provide an estimate before anything is scheduled.

Do you offer payment plans?

  • For multi-session projects, payment is made one session at a time rather than paying everything upfront.

Design Process

What if I don't know exactly what I want?

  • That's completely okay. Bring any reference images, ideas, themes, or inspiration you have, and I'll help develop a design that fits your vision while working well as a tattoo.

When will I see my design?

  • Designs are shown on the day of your appointment. We won't begin tattooing until you're completely happy with the design. Small changes can usually be made that day, while larger revisions may require rescheduling to allow time for a redraw.

Can I see my design before my appointment?

  • I do not send designs electronically. If you'd like to review your design beforehand, you're welcome to schedule a time to stop by the shop a day or two before your appointment.

Can you copy another tattoo?

  • No. I use reference images for inspiration but do not create exact copies of another artist's work. Every tattoo is designed specifically for you.

Can I bring my own design?

  • Absolutely. Whether you have a finished concept or just an idea, I'll work with you to create something that fits both your vision and my style.

Do you tattoo the same flash twice?

  • No. My flash designs are one-of-one unless otherwise stated. Once a design is claimed, it's retired. If you love a previous flash, I'm happy to redesign it into a new, one-of-a-kind piece.

During Your Appointment

How should I prepare?

  • Get a good night's sleep, eat a solid meal beforehand, stay hydrated, and avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours. Try to avoid sunburns and excessive caffeine before you are appointed well.

What should I bring?

  • You're welcome to bring snacks, drinks, headphones, a phone charger, a pillow, blanket, or anything else that helps you stay comfortable. Lunch is provided during full-day sessions.

Can I bring someone with me?

  • Yes. One guest is welcome if space allows. Depending on how busy the shop is, they may be asked to wait in the lobby.

Can I use numbing cream?

  • Please let me know beforehand if you're planning to use numbing cream. Some products can affect the tattooing process, so I may recommend certain brands or ask that you avoid using it.
