This flash piece is my take on the Dirty Bubble from SpongeBob, turned into a spiked ball and chain. I wanted to keep the design fun and recognizable, but make it feel a little more aggressive than the original character. The Dirty Bubble has a more rendered look, while the chain and handle use brighter traditional colors to keep the piece bold and tattooable. It’s a weird mix of cartoon nostalgia and medieval weapon energy, which is exactly why I think it works. This would be a fun one for someone who wants a character tattoo without it feeling too plain or copied straight from the show.
