This flash piece is based on Ms. Chalice vs. The Devil, with Ms. Chalice kept in black and grey while The Devil brings in all the bright reds and yellows up top. I wanted it to feel playful and a little mean, like a fun boss fight moment frozen into one design. I like the contrast in this one a lot. Ms. Chalice has that softer vintage cartoon look, while The Devil adds more energy and attitude sitting right on top of her. It keeps the piece feeling balanced without losing the chaos that makes the Cuphead characters so fun in the first place.
