About this piece
I wanted this piece to feel cute at first, but then a little darker once you actually sit with it. The rabbit is shaded with a softer, more realistic chrome look; through the center is a skin break to give the illusion that the rabbit is crawling through your skin. This gives it more movement and tension. I like the contrast of using an innocent subject, but cutting it with something sharper and more aggressive. This would be a cool piece for someone who wants something strange and a little unsettling, without it being too obvious or overdone.
