About this piece
For this piece I wanted the face to feel softer and more innocent, while the armor and decorative pieces bring in stronger vibe with traditional shapes and color. I like the contrast in this design because it feels elegant, but still has a tougher edge to it. The red and gold accents help frame the portrait without taking too much attention away from the face. This would work best on an arm or leg where the portrait has enough room to stay clean and the helmet details can still read clearly.
