I wanted this panther to feel mean and aggressive just like some of the old school panther head tattoos out there, but with smoother black and grey shading to give it more of a polished, almost chrome-like look. The collar keeps the design bold and graphic, while the panther has more detail and movement in the face. I like how this one feels like a classic tattoo idea, but pushed a little darker and sharper. This would work best on an arm or leg where the shape of the head and collar can sit cleanly without losing the smaller details.
