About this piece
I wanted this Anubis design to feel dark and powerful, but still clean enough to read well as a tattoo. The whole piece is done in black and grey with heavier contrast, which gives Anubis a more intense presence without making it feel too busy. I like how the skull in the hand adds to the symbolism, while the smoke and glow effects give it a more supernatural feel.
